Whether you want a day spent exploring the beautiful Longwood gardens or a day learning American history, the Brandywine Valley has got you covered.

Must See:

Located seven miles from our hotel is Longwood Gardens. Longwood features 40 indoor and outdoor gardens. Visitors can explore the Conservatory or tour the historic Pierce-du Pont House featuring the largest, yellow cucumber magnolia tree in the country.

Must Do:

Less than seven miles from our property is Ridley Creek State Park. This park is a great place to spend an afternoon. The park features over 12 miles of hiking and biking trails, a number of picnic areas and excellent fishing opportunities.

What's New:

While visiting the Brandywine Valley, guests should visit the Brandywine River Museum. Known for its collection of works by the Wyeths, the Museum allows tours of N.C. Wyeth's studio and hosts special programs throughout the year.

Don't Go Home Without:

Before leaving the Brandywine Valley, guests should be sure to visit historic Kennett Square. Travelers can visit the Farmer's Market and the Underground Railroad Museum, take an historic walking tour or simply enjoy dining at a sidewalk cafe.

Tips:

The Brandywine Valley attracts a number of travelers throughout the year. However, the best time to visit the area is during the fall when temperatures are mild and the leaves transform from green to spectacular shades of red, orange and yellow.
